Here's what's new in SiteDNA this month: you can mark up issue photos, review a site faster with the new property map on mobile, add photos to an issue without limits, and save an issue without giving it a title.
Annotate issue photos
You can now mark up issue photos right in SiteDNA, on web and in the mobile app: draw, add arrows and text, rotate, and crop to highlight exactly what needs attention before sharing a report with your crew or client. The original photo is always kept alongside your annotated version, both downloadable.
A faster property map on mobile
On the mobile app, the property map now uses pins that match the web app, and tapping a pin opens a quick preview without leaving the map. You can see the issue's photo and title, mark it as closed, or tap through to the full issue, so reviewing a site from your phone is faster.
More improvements
Capturing an issue no longer requires a title. On web and mobile you can save an issue without naming it, and any untitled issue is automatically labelled Issue 1, Issue 2, and so on (numbered per property) everywhere it appears, from issue lists and the gallery to reports and the property view. Open the issue any time to add a title in its place, so fast field capture never slows you down.
On the web app, there are no longer any limits on how many photos you can add to an issue or how large each one can be. On the mobile app, you now get a clear message when a photo is too large or you have reached the per batch limit, instead of the upload stopping silently.
On the web app, the issue drawer now opens to full height, giving you more room to review issue details, photos, and notes without extra scrolling.
On mobile, when creating a report is blocked, tapping Create report now tells you the reason instead of doing nothing.
On mobile, the order of actions in the bulk menu has been updated.
On mobile, the cover image option has been removed from the report options.
Bug fixes
Issues that could get stuck without syncing on mobile now sync reliably, including captures made offline once you reconnect and automatic retries when the server is briefly unavailable.
Edits made on mobile are no longer overwritten or lost when the app syncs with the server.
Property details such as the Last Inspected date are no longer overwritten on mobile.
The app no longer crashes when you switch from the map to the camera while creating an issue.
After switching between companies on the same device, you now see the correct property's issues on mobile.
Fixed a scrolling problem in the bulk issue creation and Team Notes drawer on the web app, so long lists scroll smoothly again.
