What's New - May 2026

Written by Michelle Ennis

Here's what we shipped in May, including static reports, a priority field for issues, user roles, and the ability to assign team members to properties.

Static reports

Reports are locked in at the time you create them. Changes to issues after a report is generated won't update what's already on the report. When you're ready to pull in the latest data, you can refresh individual issues or the entire report from the report builder.

Priority field on issues

Issues now have a dedicated priority field with High, Medium, and Low options. Priority is colour-coded and visible on issue cards, so urgent items stand out at a glance. Templates can include a default priority to save time during capture.

User roles

Account owners can assign roles to control what each team member can see and do. Roles include Admin, Manager, and Standard, each with different permissions for managing users, billing, and content. Set roles from Company Settings > Users on web.

Assign users to properties

Assign team members to properties so you can see and filter by who manages each site. Helpful for larger teams where different Account Managers handle different parts of the portfolio.

Issue grouping

Group your issue list by different attributes to organize your view. Options include Create date, Close date, Issue status, Category, Priority, and Created by. Pick the grouping that fits what you're looking for, or turn it off entirely to see a flat list where sorting works across all your issues at once.

Last inspection date

Properties now show the date of the last inspection, and you can filter your property list by it. A quick way to spot which sites are overdue for a visit.

Team notes

Add team notes to issues that are separate from the customer-facing description. Show or hide them on reports using report options.

Create properties offline on mobile

You can now create new properties while offline. They sync automatically when you reconnect, just like issues already do.

More improvements

  • Apply labels on mobile. You can now apply labels to properties directly from the mobile app.

  • Property list bulk actions. Select multiple properties from the property list on web and take action on them at once.

  • Name collection. New users are prompted to add their name when they first log in, so your team list shows real names right away. Admins can also edit user names from the Users page.

  • Quick close/reopen issues. Close or reopen issues directly from the issue card on mobile without opening the full detail view.

  • Help Center link. Access the SiteDNA Help Center directly from the web and mobile app for how-to guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting.

  • Two-letter avatars. User avatars display two-letter initials with colour-coding by name, making it easier to tell team members apart when multiple people share the same first initial.

  • Image download popup. A confirmation popup appears when downloading issue images on mobile.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug on mobile that prevented some users from creating issues.

  • Fixed zoom controls in the issue detail drawer on web.

  • Fixed a syncing issue involving failed issues and properties.
