You can now mark up issue photos right in SiteDNA, on Web and in the mobile app. Draw, add arrows and text, rotate, and crop to highlight exactly what needs attention before sharing with your crew or client.
On web
Open a photo from an issue, during capture or from an existing issue, and select the annotate option.

Choose a tool from the toolbar: Free Draw, Arrow, Text (3 label formats), Rotate, or Crop.
Make your marks. Use Undo/Redo if you need to adjust anything during the session.
Select Save. Your annotated version is saved alongside the original, both are downloadable separately.
On mobile
Open a photo from an issue, during capture or from an existing issue, and tap the annotate option.

Pick a tool: Free Draw, Arrow, Text (3 label formats), Rotate, or Crop, and a colour if drawing or writing.
Make your marks. Use Undo/Redo if you need to adjust anything during the session.
Tap Save. Your annotated version is saved alongside the original, both are downloadable separately.
Good to Know
The original photo is always kept. Re-annotating a photo replaces the previous annotated version rather than keeping both.
Annotations are never flattened into the image, they stay editable any time you reopen the photo.
Annotated photos appear in issue details and in your reports. The original stays available as a separate download.
